Your role as EDUCAUSE Primary Representative is vital—helping your organization get the most out of its EDUCAUSE membership.

Please notify your designated representatives and EDUCAUSE Ambassador that you have added them to the EDUCAUSE roster and note that they have the option to opt out at any time.

Special Access and Support

As Primary Representative, you have special access to:

  • A dedicated EDUCAUSE membership representative who will help you navigate membership benefits and EDUCAUSE resources. Contact the membership team for any questions you may have.
  • Periodic calls with our programs and services teams to get your questions answered and help shape the future of our offerings.

Five Quick Ways to Get Your Campus Engaged


  1. Update Your Email Signature

    Use your daily emails to let your colleagues know about your role as EDUCAUSE Primary Representative. Example:

    EDUCAUSE Primary Representative for [insert institution]
    Our organization is an EDUCAUSE member! Contact me for information on research, resources, and events you should know about.

  2. Announce Your Role

    Introduce yourself and your role to colleagues and staff across campus, and let them know they have access to membership benefits. Simply download this pre-written email we've crafted for you and share it with your academic/teaching and learning, IT, cybersecurity and privacy, research, library, and business staff.

  4. Add Information to Your Institution's Website

    Add a web page about EDUCAUSE membership and benefits to your IT website and campus eLearning/professional development sites (or link to our overview page). Don't forget the EDUCAUSE logo!*

  6. Post Regularly to Social Media

    Post (or re-share) EDUCAUSE content to your preferred social media channels. Be sure to follow EDUCAUSE on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

  8. Present at a Staff/Faculty Meeting and Work with Your HR Department

    Reserve time during a staff/faculty meeting to conduct a presentation about EDUCAUSE and the benefits available to your staff and colleagues. You can also create a strategy with your human resources department to inform your colleagues about EDUCAUSE and membership benefits. For instance, discuss ways to incorporate key details into your institutional onboarding materials.
