EDUCAUSE membership runs on an annual cycle from July 1 through June 30. The annual fee is due on June 30, and organizations are welcome to join at any point of the year at a prorated dues amount.

How to Renew Your EDUCAUSE Membership

If you are the Primary Representative for your organization’s EDUCAUSE membership, an invoice for the upcoming membership year is emailed to you in May. Follow these steps to confirm and renew your membership.

  • Locate your renewal invoice.
    An invoice for the upcoming membership year is emailed to the Primary Representative in advance of the July 1–June 30 cycle. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for the latest EDUCAUSE membership invoice. If you don't see it, no problem—contact us.
  • Select your payment method.
    Follow the instructions on your invoice to submit payment (by credit card online, by check, or by purchase order, depending on your organization’s processes). Be sure to confirm that your organization details and billing contact details are up-to-date on the invoice.
  • Confirm access for your colleagues.
    Encourage your colleagues and staff to create or update their EDUCAUSE Profiles so they can access membership benefits once your renewal is processed.

Yes. Organizations may renew at any time after lapse. Once payment is received, benefits and access are fully restored.

We offer several payment options:

  • Pay by credit card online. Our membership team can email you an invoice for you to easily pay online.
  • Pay by check. From the requested online invoice, you can download and print a statement and mail a check to the following address.

    Please note: The EDUCAUSE payment address is different from our regular mailing address in Boulder, CO and has also recently been updated.

Your EDUCAUSE Primary Representative typically manages renewal and billing, though payment may be made by another authorized individual at your organization.

To reassign your role to another individual at your organization, please contact our membership team.

Yes. If your institution's ability to renew its membership this year is jeopardized by circumstances such as a situational hardship or an anomalous or unrepresentative IPEDS tier classification, you may submit a request for a dues tier reassessment via the form below.
