Abstract
An ERP system like PeopleSoft Student Administration uses relational database tables. Even with query tools, extracting data and reporting is complicated. You can distill the data by addressing common needs first and by providing access to a small series of consolidated tables using inexpensive PC tools and ODBC. DePaul University did this effectively.
