Abstract
Drones, widely recognized for their use in military and police activities, are finding a growing number of uses in education and scholarly research. They provide a relatively inexpensive and effective platform to carry out a wide range of activities, such as remote viewing, landscape searches, site monitoring, and data gathering. The use of drones enables a range of learning and research activities that might be dangerous, costly, or otherwise not feasible.
